Buffon on verge of Juventus return

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Serie A champions Juventus are getting closer and closer to securing the signing of Gianluigi Buffon. The legendary keeper would be returning to the club where he made a name for himself, and has reportedly already agreed on personal terms. He went on a one year stay with French champions Paris Saint-Germain, but it didn’t really seem as if that was a great fit for him.

Now, as he prepares for what will almost certainly be the final big move of his career, there are a series of questions that fans have in regards to Buffon. Some want to know whether or not he’s still got what it takes to play at a high level, whereas others are questioning how much game time he’s going to get – given that he’ll probably a back up.

Either way, it’s great to see him back where he belongs.
