(GSM) – Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has urged his teammates not to let the form slip as they hope to win their fourth match in a row.

Juve hosts Ajax tomorrow night as they look to advance to the next stage of the Europa league.

Juventus seemed to end their crisis by beating Genoa, Ajax and Bologna, putting them back in Serie A’s fourth place.

However, Buffon looks like he’s not that impressed by the recent good run as he states that ‘three consecutive wins have always been the norm.’

“We are going through our best moment since the start of 2010,” wrote Buffon on his personal website.

“However, for Juventus three consecutive wins have always been the norm and not the exception.

“Now we must work hard to make sure that is the case for the rest of the season, which is still long and can give us a lot to celebrate in Italy and in Europe.”

Juve welcome the Dutch side to Turin and have a 2-1 away result to set them in the driving seat for qualification. The absence of star player Luis Suarez (suspension) at Ajax will also increase the Bianconeri’s chances to advance to the last 16.

“On Thursday the second leg against Ajax will be tough and we’ll try to put it under lock and key after last week’s fine victory in Amsterdam.

“We are all very concentrated on this game and are counting on the fans to fill the Olimpico and support us, just as they did against Genoa.

“It is an important appointment so that we can achieve qualification and continue in a tournament that means a lot to us.

“It is also valuable to maintain the growth of our self-belief ahead of a series of crucial head-to-head fixtures against Palermo, Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Napoli.

“Those results could give us a major boost in the final sprint for the Champions League places.”
