CSKA Sofia kept up the pressure on second-placed Levski Sofia with a 2-0 win over Minyor Pernik on Saturday in the Bulgarian A-League.
Michel Platini scored a brace in the win, scoring the opener in first-half stoppage time and adding a second 11 minutes after the interval to draw his side to within three points of Levski.
Levski have played one game fewer but take on the league-leading Litex Lovech on Sunday.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Lokomotiv Plovdiv moved a point clear of Cherno More in fifth place with a 2-2 draw at home against Pirin Blagoevgrad.
The visitors took a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Dimitar Iliev and Ivan Cvetkov, but Plovdiv hit back through strikes from Youness Bengelloun and Gabor Eros to ensure a share of the spoils.
