A number of Germany’s top sides are showing interest in FC Sion forward Moussa Konate, Blick can reveal.
Following somewhat disappointing spells with FK Krasnodar and Genoa, the Senegalese forward has finally got his career back on track.
The 22-year-old impressed in his debut season with FC Sion, having managed 22 goals and 6 assists in 33 competitive outings.
As a result, the likes of Wolfsburg, Werder Bremen and Schalke are all keen on the forward’s services, and they could make their interest concrete in the coming weeks.
Premier League newcomers Watford are also looking at the highly rated striker, who has a contract until June 2017 with FC Sion.
Moussa Konate first caught the eye of top clubs while playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv, while he was also in excellent form at the 2012 Olympics in United Kingdom, scoring impressive 5 goals in 4 appearances for the Senegal Under-23 side.
