Stuttgart have recorded a 2-0 win over Kaiserslautern on Friday to move into fourth in the Bundesliga.
Second-half goals from Cacau and Khalid Boulahrouz at the Fritz Walter Stadion saw Bruno Labbadia’s team make it three wins from their last four outings.
Brazil-born Germany forward Cacau opened the scoring on 52 minutes when he tapped in a Boulahrouz cut-back.
The Dutchman went from provider to scorer when his shot took a wicked deflection and beat goalkeeper Kevin Trapp 20 minutes from time.
Stuttgart are fourth after the win, albeit having played a game more than their rivals, while Kaiserslautern sit 15th.
