Hannover goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler could be moving to English Premier League in the summer, reports German newspaper Kicker.
Liverpool are believed to be leading the chase for the 25-year-old as Brendan Rodgers wants him to provide competition for Simon Mignolet.
And the Reds have just been handed a major boost in their pursuit of the Germany number two as Kicker understands that Zieler is ready to quit the 96ers for England at the end of the current campaign.
The interesting thing is that Zieler had spent five years at Old Trafford having joined from Koln, but he left the Red Devils without making a single senior appearance.
The talented shot-stopper, however, kick-started his career at Hannover and is currently regarded as one of Europe’s most talented goalkeepers.
His suitors Liverpool resume their Premier League campaign with a home game against Swansea, where they are 2/7 to claim maximum points.
