A second-half goal bonanza helped Nuremberg secured a runaway 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in their Bundesliga clash on Friday.
The match at the easyCredit Stadion was delayed by 15 minutes for security reasons, and both sides found it hard to carve out chances in a goalless first half.
Julian Schieber broke the deadlock in the 68th minute when he drove home an indirect free-kick involving Turkey midfielder Mehmet Ekici, and the hosts sewed up the three points with a late strike from Robert Mak and a long-range Almog Cohen goal which struck the right post before going in.
The win moved Nuremberg into sixth place in on the table, while Frankfurt remain in 12th place and just four points above the relegation zone.
