The German referee Deniz Aytekin is becoming a huge hit in the Bundesliga lately.
He was last week pictured taking a lemon bonbon thrown to the pitch and a similar ‘incident’ occurred this last weekend when fans offered him a complimentary sweet ahead of the match between Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg.
The ref once again showed tangible traces of human personality as he accepted the offer with a wide smile of his face.
