Bundesliga star cools off Bayern link

Borussia Moenchengladbach midfielder Marco Reus has moved to deny reports that he is one of the verge of joining Bayern Munich.

The 22-year-old attracted a lot of interest with his scintillating performances this term, with Bayern just one of the clubs keen on the Germany international.

However, even if the German giants have openly expressed their interest in the young midfielder, the player says he is happy to stay at Borussia.

“I have already spoken my mind regarding certain rumours in the past, but now it’s too much,” Reus told Kicker.

“My contract with Borussia will expire in 2015 and I want to respect it.”

Reus yesterday scored both goals in Borussia’s victory over Hertha that saw them climb to 4th place in the Bundesliga standings.
