Bundesliga starlet on Tottenham radar
German newspaper Bild is reporting that Tottenham are keeping close tabs on Hannover youngster Andre Hoffmann.
Spurs have been alerted of the player’s potential a while back and they had scouts present at Hannover’s last two Bundesliga games.
This is enough to suggest they are closely monitoring Hoffmann’s performances with a view of luring him to White Hart Lane in the summer.
The 20-year-old has shown a great deal of potential since joining the club from Duisburg in January 2013, going on to make 30 Bundesliga appearances for the 96ers.
The holding midfielder also broke into Germany Under-21 set-up and is currently regarded as one of the hottest prospects in the country.
His suitors Tottenham are hoping to revive their top 4 hopes by beating Newcastle away, and they are 13/10 to win at St James’ Park.
Inter in new assault on Lamela
Inter Milan are readying a summer bid for Tottenham midfielder Erik Lamela, reports Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri failed in their attempt to sign the Argentine footballer in the winter transfer window, but they hope to make things right at the end of the season.
Erik Lamela has largely struggled to adapt to the Premier League after joining Spurs from Roma, and has only made nine league appearances this season.
The Argentine hasn’t even been named into a match squad for the last six fixtures, which is enough to suggest his long-term future is in doubt.
And with his wage set to increase with every season he spends at the White Hart Lane, Tottenham could decide to cut their losses and cash in on him next summer.
Erik Lamela has been in stunning form during his time at Roma, having scored 19 goals in 62 Serie A appearances for the Giallorossi.
Gladbach eyeing Aaron Hunt
Borussia M’gladbach are showing interest in Werder Bremen attacker Aaron Hunt, according to Bild.
Die Fohlen are preparing for life without star player Juan Arango, who is set to leave when his contract expires at the end of the season.
And Bild reports that Borussia are lining up a summer move for Aaron Hunt in a bid to replace the Venezuelan winger.
The 27-year-old will also be out of contract in the summer and he may be looking for a change of scenery having spent his entire career at Werder, especially given the club’s recent struggles.
Aaron Hunt has made a total of 193 Bundesliga appearances for the Weserstadion outfit, and scored 41 goals.
He has so far earned 3 Germany caps and last played for the national team in the friendly win over Ecuador in May 2013.
