Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Sebastian Rode has hinted that he would be interested in a switch to Arsenal.
The highly rated footballer has less than a year left on his deal at Commerzbank Arena and he has recently seen his name linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, among other clubs.
While refusing to comment on the transfer speculation, the 23-year-old has hinted that Arsenal may have the upper hand at the moment.
“With so many Germans playing at Arsenal, it wouldn’t be bad for me…,” Rode confessed to Sport Bild.
The talented footballer has also admitted that he will soon make a decision on his future, but it is perfectly clear he will not be signing a new deal with his current employers.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had earlier described Rode as one of the most interesting talents in Europe and the Frenchman could attempt to sign the player on a cut-price deal in January.
The Gunners lead the chase in English Premier League and are priced at 9/2 to remain at the summit come end of the season.
