Hamburg earned a priceless three points in the Bundesliga with a late 1-0 win over Cologne on Sunday.
Paolo Guerrero scored his first away goal in the German top flight since October 2010, netting an 88th-minute winner to steal victory for the visitors at the RheinEnergieStadion.
Hamburg climbed to 10th with the win, ahead of Cologne in 12th spot, and six points clear of the drop zone after 21 matches.
In Sunday’s other fixture, Augsburg were held to a 0-0 home draw by fellow strugglers Nuremburg.
The stalemate at the SGL Arena left Augsberg in 19th spot, two points from safety, while Nuremberg moved four points clear of the bottom three.
