Turkish Sporx TV has suggested that Lazio have reached an agreement to sign forward Burak Yilmaz from Galatasaray.
The Biancocelesti have stepped up their chase for a new striker following an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Juventus in Italian Super Cup.
And while PSV Eindhoven’s Tim Matavz remains on their hit-list, it looks as though Lazio officials are turning their attention to Burak Yilmaz.
Sporx TV has even moved to suggest that Galatasaray have accepted a €15 million proposal for their prized asset, with the player offered €2.5 million yearly wage.
Burak Yilmaz has been linked with a number of high-profile sides over the last few months, but Galatasaray are reportedly not too keen on seeing their star player leave this summer.
The 28-year-old has been scoring goals for fun ever since he joined Cimbom from Trabzonspor, netting a total of 33 goals in 40 competitive appearances for the Turkish giants.
