Burdisso would like to join Roma

Nicolas Andre Burdisso would love to join Roma, revealed the Inter centre-back’s agent today. “Roma have not contacted us yet, but he likes the idea,” said representative Fernando Hidalgo.

It is believed Roma would prefer to have the player on loan, but Burdisso’s agent is not so convinced. “Our plan would be a permanent transfer, but I will not get into the negotiations between the two clubs until they are completed.” The 28-year-old has been at Inter since 2004, when he joined from Boca Juniors. Burdisso is a versatile figure who can play at centre-back, full-back or even occasionally in midfield.
