Crystal Palace are set to bid for RB Leipzig winger Oliver Burke, according to the Guardian.
The Scotland international moved to the Bundesliga outfit from Nottingham Forest twelve months ago but has struggled for starts with the majority of his appearances for the German outfit coming as a substitute.
In total he has racked up twenty-six appearances in all competitions with his one and only goal coming in a 1-1 draw against Koln last September.
He began last season with four goals in five league appearances for Forest – form that earned him his big money move to Germany and it was recently appointed Crystal Palace Sporting Director Dougie Freedman who gave him his professional debut.
He has been capped five times for Scotland at senior level having also represented them at U19 and U20 level.
Palace currently sit nineteenth in the Premier League having lost both of their opening two fixtures and are yet to score.
