Burnley went seven points clear atop of the Championship following a 3-1 away win against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon. The Clarets have been enjoying a rich vein of form in the second tier, and have nine games left to ensure they end the season at the summit.

Manager Sean Dyche took the side up from the Championship in 2014, but suffered relegation in their maiden Premier League season. Burnley look on course to bounce back immediately given their lead over second-placed Middlesbrough, coupled with an outstanding unbeaten run.

The league leaders have gone 14 games without defeat, and have won six consecutive outings ahead of next week’s clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers. No side can match their results of late, and it’s seen Burnley open up a sizeable gap with the season coming to a close.

They have a nine-point lead over the playoffs, but are gunning for more than just automatic promotion. As a result, Coral are giving odds of 8/11 for the Clarets to win the Championship title.
