Premier League newcomers Burnley have completed the signing of veteran defender Steven Reid, according to the Mail Online.
The 33 year old was released by West Bromwich Albion at the end of last season, having racked up almost one hundred appearances in all competitions for the club.
He originally moved to the Hawthorns on loan from Blackburn Rovers in March 2010 before making the move permanent two months later.
Reid began his career with Millwall where he played alongside Burnley manager Sean Dyche for a little over two seasons, while he has also had a brief loan spell with Queens Park Rangers in 2009.
Internationally, he has twenty-three caps for the Republic of Ireland, two of which came in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
Burnley begin the forthcoming campaign at home to Chelsea on August 16th, and they can be backed at 13/2 to take all three points.
