Burnley eye Rodriguez reunion

Burnley are considering a move for West Bromwich Albion forward Jay Rodriguez, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-eight year old began his career at Turf Moor, spending almost five years in their first team before securing a move to Southampton.

He made one hundred and twenty-eight appearances for the Clarets, scoring forty-one goals and helping them win promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs in 2009 and being named their Player of the Year two years later.

He then spent five seasons with Southampton before signing for the Baggies last season and has managed eleven goals in thirty-eight games this campaign though his side are almost certain to be relegated as they sit bottom of the table, eight points from safety with just three games left to play.

He won his one and only senior England cap so far in a friendly against Chile at Wembley in 2013.
