Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen is confident that the Premier League newcomers can manage to avoid relegation.
Jensen saved a penalty in Burnley’s impressive 1-0 victory over Manchester United last night.
He said: “We have always known that, if we play to our standards, then we have a chance against anybody and we proved that against United.
“We have raised our standards from last season because we knew that we would have to do that.
“We were underdogs as well last season and we proved a lot of people wrong and we have started doing that again.
“But this is just one game. It’s a marathon not a sprint and we know we have a long way to go this season.”
