Burnley in fresh assault on Milan’s Pazzini

Italian media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Premier League newcomers Burnley are stepping up their efforts to sign AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini.

The Clarets are desperate to kick-start their league campaign and having bagged mere 9 goals in 13 fixtures, it is hardly surprising signing a quality striker is the number one priority.

According to the latest reports, Burnley seem to be hot on the trail of AC Milan forward Giampaolo Pazzini, who is heavily linked with a January exit.

The Premier League side have already established contact with the Rossoneri and they hope to sign the 30-year-old on loan until the end of the season.

Pazzini is clearly not in the first team plans of coach Pippo Inzaghi and he could be interested in a switch to England having spent his entire career in Italy.

Burnley currently sit in the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference alone, and the Clarets are 15/8 to stay up.
