Burnley are interested in signing Fabian Delph from Everton in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon, who has made the claim on Twitter. The well-known and reputable journalist has suggested that the Clarets are looking at Delph as a potential replacement for Jeff Hendrick, who recently joined Premier League rivals Newcasle United on a free transfer after leaving Burnley earlier this summer.
BURNLEY. Taking big interest in Delph at EVERTON. One of those who fits the vacancy left by Hendrick. Down to price etc.

Delph is a midfielder by trade, but he also operated as a left-back when he was at Manchester City. The 30-year-old former Leeds United and Aston Villa star won the Premier League title twice with the Citizens under the management of Pep Guardiola.
The England international joined Everton from City in the summer of 2019, but there were injury problems. According to WhoScored, Delph made 13 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Carlo Ancelotti’s side last season.
