Burnley want Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley on loan

Burnley are interested in signing Ross Barkley from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. It has been reported that the Clarets are ready to pay a chunk of Barkley’s salary and bring him to Turf Moor on loan in the January transfer window until the end of the season.

Chelsea, who won the Champions League last season, are ready to offload the former Everton midfielder. The 27-year-old has played just seven minutes in the Premier League, 16 minutes in the Champions League and 45 minutes in the Carabao Cup so far this season.

Burnley are in danger of going down to the Championship at the end of the season. Barkley is a very good midfielder who is a dynamic player and is creative.
