Competition: League One
Market: Bury and Gillingham to draw
Odds: 9/4 @ William Hill
Bury welcome Gillingham to Gigg Lane on Monday evening, desperate to end their winless run in League One. The visitors are in slightly better form than that of the Shakers, but their meeting could end up as a stalemate given their penchant for draws of late.
Bury are 16th in League One, with 50 points from 38 games, and the wins have dried up of late. They haven’t been losing too many matches, but just aren’t picking up enough points in recent weeks to climb the table. Victory on Monday could see the Shakers move within two points of a top-half place, however.
They’ll have a hard time dispatching of Gillingham, who are currently fourth in the league with 63 points from 37 games. The Gils recently ended a long run of consecutive defeats with a win and two draws, but they’ll still be vulnerable ahead of their trip to Gigg Lane.
The visitors are favourites to come out on top given the gap between the two sides in the table, but with Bury and Gillingham having drawn 20 games between them this season, William Hill are giving odds of 9/4 for the duo to play out a stalemate.
