Busquets wants Barcelona stay

The agent of Barcelona youngster Sergio Busquets insists the midfielder wants to stay put at the Nou Camp.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus in recent weeks. Reports in the Spanish Press suggest Juventus have had scouts watching the youngster in action.

But the Barca starlet is keen on a stay at the Nou Camp, despite recently rejecting a contract offer.

“My client has ordered me to only listen to offers coming from Barcelona,” Busquets’ agent Josep Maria Orobitg told Catalan newspaper Sport.

“We will continue to negotiate and hopefully we will soon find an agreement.

“Sergio is young and he is happy here at Barcelona. He wants to become one of the most important players for this team.”
