Leeds United have completed the loan signing of Jack Butland from Stoke City until the end of the season, according to the Mirror.
The 22 year old has struggled the oust Potters first choice goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, with his only appearances for the Premier League club coming when the Bosnian was injured at the beginning of the year.
He has previously spent time in Yorkshire this season with a brief spell at Barnsley, where the one time England international kept two clean sheets in thirteen games – the first of which coming at Elland Road in what was his first appearance for the Tykes.
Butland will now rival Paddy Kenny in Brian McDermott’s side, keen to keep himself in England manager Roy Hodgson’s thoughts ahead of this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.
He could make his debut in tomorrow afternoon’s game against a Middlesbrough side who have failed to score in their last five games.
