Montpellier midfielder Remy Cabella has admitted that Marseille made an offer for his services in the summer transfer window.
The French giants had made the 23-year-old one of their top targets this summer, and even submitted an official proposal.
However, having just sold playmaker Younes Belhanda to Dynamo Kiev, la Paillade didn’t want to hear about selling Cabella as well.
“OM made an offer,” the talented footballer confessed to French daily newspaper L’Equipe.
Chances are that Marseille will return for Cabella in January, especially if one of their star players leaves the club in the winter.
The France Under-21 international continues to prove why he is considered one of France’s most talented footballers, and everything suggests he will soon be leaving his current employers for greener pastures.
Remy Cabella has been in scintillating form this season, managing 5 goals and 2 assist in 9 Ligue 1 fixtures, while scoring 2 goals in 9 matches for France Under-21 side.
