Calhanoglu staying at AC Milan

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Hakan Calhanoglu is set to end speculation over his future by signing a new deal with AC Milan.

The media has been speculating over where he may go next for quite some time now, with the overriding opinion being that he will make the jump over to Manchester United. The Red Devils had been looking into the possibility of a pre-contract agreement given the fact that he was set to leave in the summer transfer window, but now, Milan are going to be keeping hold of their man.

Calhanoglu is an exciting player to have on the books, and with Milan hoping to keep their title push going strong in Serie A, it’s great for them to be able to get out from underneath this issue.

Now, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to go back to the drawing board in an attempt to select a few other names for the January window.
