Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar and midfielder Esteban Cambiasso could miss Tuesday’s much-anticipated Champions League clash against Tottenham after suffering hamstring strains.
Both players were forced off during Friday’s 1-0 win at Genoa that moved Inter to second in Serie A, with tests on Saturday revealing strains that could rule them out of the crucial Group A match.
Inter won the first leg 4-3, but Rafael Benitez’s side were left feeling frustrated having gone in for the half-time break 4-0 ahead.
Spurs fought back in the second half, during which Welsh midfielder Gareth Bale scored a hat-trick.
