Competition: World Cup
Market: Cameroon to win or draw against Mexico
Odds: 13/20 @ Ladbrokes

Mexico will be hoping to get their World Cup campaign off to the perfect start with a win against Cameroon on Friday, but will certainly face stiff competition.

The South American outfit boast a strong lineup to face their African opponents. Striker Oribe Peralta is the one to watch, after he scored 10 goals in their qualifiers to get Mexico this far, They also have the likes of veteran defender Rafael Marquez marshalling the backline.

For Cameroon, their attack is certainly their biggest strength, with striker Samuel Eto’o as their danger man, and certainly one to be wary of as the former Chelsea player in the country’s all-time leading goalscorer. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (Mainz) will also be a threat as the 25-year-old boasted a 32% goals-to-game ratio in the Bundesliga last season.

They do have a decent starting XI too, with midfielders Alex Song (Barcelona), Joel Matip (Schalke 04), Stephane Mbia (Sevilla) and defenders Nicolas Nikolaou (Marseilles) and Aurélien Cheju (Galatasaray) the most notable names potentially starting against Mexico.

As a result, Ladbrokes are giving odds of 13/20 for Cameroon to come away with a result against Mexico on Friday.
