LOSC Lille’s Cameroonian defender Aurelien Chedjou has signed a new contract that will see him stay at the north French club till 2014. Chedjou’s original contract was till 2013 and he has now added a year to it by penning a fresh deal with Les Dogues.
The Douala born defender, a product of the Kadji Sports Academy, first played in France for Pau FC. From Pau he went to AJ Auxerre, but didn’t get too much playing time there. He joined Rouen in 2006 and left them a year later for Lille.
Chedjou was part of Cameroon’s football squad for both the 2008 Olympics and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
