Former Real Madrid player Ivan Campo has agreed terms with Championship side Ipswich Town. This was announced by the club on Thursday.
The Spanish defender is reportedly ready to sign a deal for two years, but will still have to complete medical tests first.
The 34-year-old Basque played in Spain from 1993 to 2003, representing Alaves, Valencia, Valladolid, Mallorca and Real Madrid respectively.
After a five-year spell at Madrid, the long-haired player joined Bolton Wanderers on loan, to complete an official move the year after.
Ipswich finished last season in eighth position, only a point away from reaching the promotion play-offs.
