Arsenal travel to the Bet365 Stadium to face Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday evening, in a must-win game to keep their hopes of a top-four finish alive.
However, this fixture has been a banana-skin for the Gunners in the past, having failed to win away to the Potters in the Premier League since 2010.
But with Stoke far from convincing on home soil of late while Arsenal have been resurgent, can the Londoners end their long-awaited winless run at Stoke?

Stoke City’s recent form sees them as underdogs
Mark Hughes’ Stoke City side are currently 13th in the Premier League table with 41 points from 36 games this season, coming off the back of three defeats and two draws from their last half a dozen outings. The Potters have picked up only one win in nine ahead of Saturday’s visit of Arsenal, and can’t build up any momentum on home soil which is likely to see them falling short this weekend.
City have lost two and draw one of their last four home games in the Premier League, and have little other than pride ultimately to play for given they are safe from relegation but not challenge for the European spots. They would want to finish in the top-half of the table but three league wins since January sees Arsenal as favourites to take advantage, especially given the visitors’ upturn in form.
Arsenal have turned a corner
Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side find themselves fifth in the division with 66 points from 35 games, having won four of their last five. The Gunners have won two of their last three away outings ahead of their trip to the Bet365 Stadium and beat Stoke City 3-1 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season. Arsenal look in great shape to end a seven-year wait for an away win against Stoke City, and have a Champions League spot to aim for – three points adrift with three games remaining. As a result, Arsenal are 3/4 to win against Stoke City in Saturday’s Premier League clash.
Can the Gunners finally deliver away to the Potters?
