Canada and Mexico draw

Matias Vuoso levelled the match in the 64th minute as Mexico drew 2-2 with Canada in a CONCACAF 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying match.

Earlier Carlos Salcido scored in the thirty fifth minute for Mexico who have already secured a berth in the final round.

Ali Gerba opened the scoring in the thirteenth minute for Canada while Tomasz Radzinski added his goal in the fiftieth minute.

Canada, who are ranked fifth in CONCACAF and eighty fourth in the world are now out of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
