Spain international Diego Capel is close to signing a new contract with La Liga side Sevilla.
Capel has been linked with a move to Premier League side Tottenham in recent months.
“A reunion is remaining between all the counterparts, but we all stand in the same way,” he said.
“I am just asking for what I deserve. I am giving my all to the club and I am hopeful they are going to value it. I would be delighted to spend many years here.
“I am hopeful we will reach a solution shortly.”
The 20-year-old started his career at the Barcelona youth team. He made his debut for the Spain national tea in August this year.
