Cardiff City have completed the signing of Spanish defender Juan Torres Ruiz Cala on a two-and-a-half year contract, according to Sky Sports.
The 24 year old, whose contract with Sevilla was terminated last week, is the seventh player to arrive at the South Wales club since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was named as their new manager last month.
Cala made thirty-two appearances in La Liga since turning professional in 2010, while he has also had loan spells at Segunda Division side Cartagena and AEK Athens in the Greek Super League.
The Bluebirds won their first league match of 2014 last weekend, beating Norwich City to move of the bottom of the Premier League.
They have the chance to move out of the relegation zone as they take on fierce local rivals Swansea City in Saturday’s late kick off, and can be backed at odds of 7/2 to take all three points.
