Cardiff City and Fulham are both keen on securing the services of West Ham United’s Ravel Morrison, according to the Guardian.
Both sides are currently coached by former associates of the England U21 midfielder who, with five goals is currently the Hammers’ top scorer.
Fulham’s Rene Meulensteen was first team coach at Manchester United while Morrison was at the club, while Cardiff’s Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was United’s youth coach at the same time.
The 20 year old currently has eighteen months remaining on his contract with West Ham, who could be tempted to cash in if a suitable bid is made.
Morrison is currently side-lined with a groin injury, and his manager Sam Allardyce will be hopeful that he will return to fitness in time for Saturday’s home match against Newcastle United.
The East London side are currently above the relegation zone on goal difference, and can be backed at 2/1 to be relegated.
