Championship winners Cardiff City are pondering an audacious swoop for their former player Aaron Ramsey, reports Daily Mail.
The Bluebirds have clinched the Championship title with two games to spare and they are already preparing for the maiden Premier League campaign.
According to Daily Mail, Cardiff will attempt to lure their former players Aaron Ramsey and Joe Ledley back to the club.
With both players considered important members of their respective sides, the Bluebirds will have to pull all the stops to sign at least one of the two Wales internationals.
They are also pondering a move for QPR forward James Mackie, who is obviously a more realistic target.
Cardiff officials are probably relying on captain Craig Bellamy to try and persuade his international teammates into joining him at the club.
The Bluebirds ensured their first ever promotion to the Premier League with a goalless draw against Charlton, before sharing spoils with Burnley to clinch the Championship title.
