Norwegian striker John Carew has declared that he would be happy to sign a new contract with Aston Villa.
The former Lyon star’s contract with Villa is set to expire at the end of next season and the big striker has been linked with club’s around Europe.
He said: “I have a year left after this. I am really happy at Villa. Do I want to stay long term? Yes, I really enjoy it at Villa.
“It is fantastic being at Villa but I am not commenting any more on new contracts or new players.”
