Scotland will playoff against the Republic of Ireland for the Carling Nations Cup after recording a 3-1 win over Wales on Wednesday.
Craig Levein’s side were forced to come from behind after Welsh stand-in captain Robert Earnshaw gave his side a first-half lead.
The Scots found the net three times in the second half to move level with the Republic of Ireland on six points at the top of the table with the two nations to meet in Dublin on Sunday.
It was a solo effort from the first-time skipper that gave Wales a 36th-minute lead.
Earnshaw beat Scotland midfielder Scott Brown before striking past goalkeeper Allan McGregor with his left foot.
Scotland only needed 10 minutes in the second half to level the scores as winger James Morrison got on the end of a fine pass from Charlie Adam before placing home.
They were ahead in the 63rd minute as Morrison turned provider for captain Kenny Miller.
The Welsh defence was broken open, allowing Morrison time and space on the right hand side with Miller providing an easy finish after a cutback pass from the West Bromwich Albion man.
Wolverhampton defender Christophe Berra completed the scoring 20 minutes from the end with his first international goal, heading home a Steven Whittaker cross to condemn Wales to their sixth straight defeat.
