Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has urged his superiors to try and bring James Rodriguez to Italy next summer.
The Real Madrid midfielder is currently on loan at Bayern Munich but his future looks highly uncertain.
Niko Kovac is unlikely to want to keep the Colombian on permanent basis at Allianz Arena and Rodriguez could easily be put up for sale once the current season completes.
Napoli are said to be closely following the situation with Carlo Ancelotti dreaming of James Rodriguez reunion, according to the Italian media. The pair worked together at Santiago Bernabeu and the Italian tactician is convinced he could help Rodriguez get his career back on track after a difficult period.
In addition to Napoli, Serie A champions Juventus are also said to be keeping an eye on Rodriguez, together with Manchester United and Arsenal.
