Spanish media outlet Marca is reporting that Atletico Madrid are hot on the trail of Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca.
Los Colchoneros wanted to recruit the Colombian last summer, but eventually signed Mario Mandzukic from Bayern Munich instead.
Nevertheless, the latest reports suggest Atletico remain keen on the 28-year-old footballer and could try to make things right at the end of the current campaign.
Despite only playing his second season at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Carlos Bacca is reportedly looking for a new challenge and he would jump at the opportunity to join los Colchoneros.
After bagging 14 goals in his first ever La Liga season, the experienced forward has already scored 13 league goals this term, although his European performances have not been as impressive as last season.
Sevilla currently trail fourth-placed Valencia by two points, but they can be backed at 9/4 to achieve a top 4 finish and second Champions League qualification.
