Carlos Mane on Manchester United radar

Daily Mail is reporting that Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Sporting Lisbon starlet Carlos Mane.

The 19-year-old is the latest prospect to have come out of club’s famous youth academy and he is on the verge of nailing down a regular starting berth at Estadio Jose Alvalade.

His impressive displays this season did not go unnoticed as Manchester United boss David Moyes is reportedly hoping to lure the forward to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils had earlier showed interest in holding midfielder William Carvalho, who is valued at £20 million, which is the same amount the Lions want for Mane.

Carlos Mane, 19, has scored 4 goals in 12 appearances in what is his first senior season at the club and he is predicted a bright future in the game.

Following the 2-1 triumph over Sporting Braga, the Lions sit one point behind leaders Benfica, who have a game in hand.
