Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez could be the next high-profile player to arrive at Monaco, according to L’Equipe.
The French giants are believed to be closing in on Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao, but more star players are likely to follow.
French daily L’Equipe understands that the Principality club are stepping up their efforts to sign Argentine striker Carlos Tevez.
The experienced forward has a contract until June 2014 at Etihad and he is desperate to leave his current employers following yet another disappointing season.
Tevez is believed to be tempted by Monaco’s ambitious project and there is a good chance he will be joining the French side in the summer.
The 29-year-old has spent last four years at Eastlands, scoring 58 goals in 111 Premier League matches having joined from Manchester United.
He has clocked up 32 league appearances for the Citizens this term, scoring 11 goals in the process.
