ESPN is reporting that Major League Soccer clubs have been showing interest in Real Sociedad star Carlos Vela.
The Mexican has enjoyed a very good season with La Real, scoring 8 goals in 32 league appearances, and he is now back on the radar of high-profile clubs.
According to ESPN, Los Angeles Galaxy and Los Angeles FC are both considering summer moves for the Mexican, who would definitely help improve the league’s profile should he move to the United States.
Colorado Rapids, San Jose Earthquakes and Chicago Fire all attempted to lure Vela to the MLS in the past, and it remains to be seen whether either of the two LA clubs will have more success.
The 28-year-old has spent last six years at Anoeta, making a total of 203 La Liga appearances for the club and scoring 64 goals.
Vela returned to the Mexico national team after a year-long absence and he has so far scored one goal in four 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
