Arsenal forward Carls Vela looks set to join Real Sociedad on permanent transfer at the end of the season, according to AS.
The young Mexican arrived to Anoeta on loan from Arsenal last August and he has enjoyed a bright start to his career in Basque country.
After somewhat struggling at the start to the season, Vela scored 7 goals in last 8 La Liga games, taking his total tally to 10 league goals.
The 22-year-old seems to have done enough to earn a permanent transfer to Real Sociedad, although the two clubs have yet to agree on a transfer fee.
With his contract at the Emirates set to expire in June 2013, Arsenal chiefs seem prepared to cash in on the player who failed to prove his potential in North London.
Real Sociedad believe they can get the player on the cheap and have tested Arsenal’s resolve with a €2 million bid.
