Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick is set to sign a new one-year deal at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Star.
The 33 year old is currently in his ninth season with United, and has so far racked up three hundred and sixty-six appearances for the club, scoring twenty-two goals.
He is now set to make it a decade in Manchester, while the proposed deal will also include an option of another year.
Prior to arriving at his current club, Carrick spent two seasons with Tottenham Hotspur having begun his career with Tottenham Hotspur, while he has also had loan spells with Swindon Town and Birmingham City.
Internationally, he has been capped thirty-one times for England, and was part of the squads for both the 2006 World Cup in Germany and 2010 tournament in South Africa.
Manchester United travel to Swansea City on Saturday afternoon, and can be backed at 1/1 to take all three points.
