For the time being, Casemiro has no intention of leaving Manchester United unless he’s told clearly he has no place in the plans of Erik ten Hag, according to ESPN.
The experienced Brazilian midfielder has come in for some harsh criticism following his disappointing performance against Liverpool last week, when his mistakes led directly to his team conceding twice to their bitter rivals before his withdrawal from the game at halftime. The arrival of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain has cast further doubt on Casemiro’s future at Old Trafford, but while United would be prepared to listen to suitable offers, Ten Hag and sporting director Dan Ashworth are apparently aware of the potential problems that would be caused by a squad reduction at the start of a hectic season.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are believed to be interested in signing Casemiro on loan before the transfer window closes in Turkey on September 13th.
