Iker Casillas has praised French forwards Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery, but feels Spain’s attackers are better.
The reigning world and European champions take on Laurent Blanc’s men in the Euro 2012 quarter-finals on Saturday to see who will face Portugal in the last four.
The Real Madrid goalkeeper is wary of the threat posed by France’s attacking players, and is eager to get revenge for defeat by France back in 2000.
“Benzema and Ribery are great players but our attack is better than the French,” he told reporters leading up to the game.
“The match will be difficult because France have a great coach. The first disappointment of my international career was our elimination in the quarter-finals of Euro 2000 by France.
“At the time they were world champions. Today, that’s us.”
