According to a recent report from ESPN, Edinson Cavani is closer than ever to joining Boca Juniors this summer.
The Manchester United forward has been linked with a move to Boca throughout the last few weeks with Marcos Rojo even noting that the club would be happy to have him. Cavani started off like a house on fire when he first made his way over to Old Trafford but now, he feels a bit more like an afterthought as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to put his focus on some of his younger forwards.
Still, that doesn’t mean a parade of clubs across Europe wouldn’t be interested in him, which is what would make this decision all the more intriguing.
Cavani has achieved a lot throughout his career and this does feel like a passion project, and if that’s the case, good luck to him in the next chapter of his run.
