Cavani likely to leave PSG next summer

Edinson Cavani is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the 2019-20 season. There are no official confirmations of such information, but it such development is becoming more and more realistic. The Uruguayan forward is in the final year of his contract with the French champions and after a long spell in France, he is getting closer to a new journey.

Cavani has had prolific six years in Ligue 1, but now he is in the final year of his contract and it looks highly unlikely that he will get a new contract at PSG. They have already signed Mauro Icardi on loan from Inter Milan and at 32, Cavani is getting closer to leaving the club. Le Parisien also report that there are no plans in the club about offering him a new contract.

It remains unknown where would Cavani continue his career, but certain leagues have been mentioned. One of the most prominent ones is Major League Soccer. Cavani was already linked with a move to David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
